There are thoughts and expressions,
which on the surface do not appear to be negative, but are, nevertheless.
Let's look at some of them:
- "So what do you think?"
- "How do I look?"
- "Do my shoes match?"
- "What do you think of my girlfriend?"
- "Should I get married?"
- "Am I too young to get married?"
- "I've got this business idea. What do you think?"
- "What's your opinion?"
- "Should I do it?"
As I said, on the surface these statements might not look negative,
but they are – believe me, they are. They indicate that you
are not sure of yourself, that you are insecure and that you need
approval before moving on. These issues, unless addressed immediately,
will furnish those darkened rooms in the crevices of your mind and
hold you back indefinitely.
